CPA stands for cost per action, which basically means that you earn money every time a user does an action. This action does not necessarily need to be that much of an action, so to speak. It can be from providing a zip code to a webpage to accept a free trial of a product.Usually the more information the user provide the company you promote with, the higher payout you will receive.
Here are some of the Offer types:
Zip code submission
A company is interested in the demographic of the consumers are offered free gift cards presents etc only for the submission of a zip code.
Address Submission
A company is interested in more detailed information of the consumer. An address is needed to trigger free gift card and other offers.
Free Software Download
Screensavers, ecards, and pc scan software are classical examples of free software downloads.
Free Software Mailed to your address
Government Grant applications is an example where you receive software on a CD for free for a certain trial period.
Product Trials
You receive a free trial of a product by mail, and the consumer only pays if he does not cancel the subscription.A Zip Code submitted to a website is between 0.5 cents up to a few bucks and a Resveratrol free trial is between 30 and 40 dollars for a sign up.Some products has a conversion rate that goes as high as 50% so the payouts can be very high promoting CPA offers.
Unfortunately it is not always that easy to get hold of these offers because you have to be a member of a CPA Network. CPA networks take care of the products for the companies and the payouts to the affiliate.Because the payouts are so high, they do not accept everybody. So you really have to be serious when you apply for a member ship. Some of them like Clickbooth.com even have tests you have to pass before being accepted and a personal phone call are very common as well.
